Yes, that's right. This is me in my bedroom pracitcing to sing to my students and I may even make clothes out of my curtains for the them if they're really lucky.

And next to me is my angry China man cupboard. Well that's what I call him anyway... It's where my tv will live once it arrives, which should be on Thursday! YAYAYAYAYAYAY!!!!

geez ur a hard task master (kind of like the dvd master!! but not.). ive been saving up all my genius funniness to make a spectacular post. that should have been obvious to you. *rolls eyes*

ur lucky im now at my peak geniusness. mhmm, ahuh.

so rok and i used to do a lot of things together... i dont think i realised how much until she was gone. *tear* OMG!! an ad for the amazing race was just on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how exciting. ok, earth quake subsided... back to jesus.

i knew it would be difficult to begin with. there would be a lot of things that i would have to start doing without rok. its been hard. but i've achieved some of my goals.

had chicken schniddy - tick
went to the bead shop - tick
...it was traumatic without rok. i constantly burst into tears... metaphorically speaking...

rented a dvd - tick.. and it so didnt take as long as it does with rok... god she's so indecisive. haha.

today i took my first trip to Qubic on my own. it was a sad occassion. but the bubble tea was splendid. had to have jelly tho, as they had no pearls. tear. it was a new experience. but one that i dont wish to repeat anytime soon. go pearls. *shakes pom poms*

those were the easy ones. there are a few that i have stayed well clear of. the main one being going to Diva. i havent even stepped one foot into a diva store since she left. not once. can u believe that?? it may or may not have anything to do with me wanting to save money... but dont tell rok that. it will make her feel all special if she thinks its because of her. i should go and by something and take a photo and send it to rok and and make her die of jealousy. mhmm. actually i better re-think that one. i dont want her to die because then we cant do anything together ever again. and that would suck many arses.

dont u love how we talk like we are speaking to someone else, some invisible person who reads this?? when really we are probably the only ones that do??? he he. if some one is out there, please so hello.

its late. i have to go to bed. got to get up early for uni... 2 o'clock lectures are killers. :P

oh i have an italian lecturer for crim. i cant understand her very well. this could be a problem.

Hot hot and hotter!

Well hello all, This is a photo of my bedroom... and basically it can explain its self.

Whats been happening? Not much really. All the newness of the place seems to wearing off... and now its just the hot place I live. :)

I have however become increasinly obsessed with origami! Naish had to do it for an exercise last week and I just grabbed hold of it and now am CRAZY! I'm trying to make everything really tiny, I've done countless teeny paper cranes, I think I'm up to about 30. And that's just since Thursday!!!!! Its keeping me amused anyway!! Now I've mastered the paper crane I'm looking for a new one to capture my imagination!

Anyway- I guess I should go... just wanted to post coz alli hasnt in like a billion years. I wonder if anyone reads this anymore.... I doubt it, oh well its for my own enjoyment then :)

Ello. I just thought i'd post and say hello and that i'm not dead, just in the outback. Basically havent had time to load my camera stuff onto the computer as of yet. but hopefully i'll get it done in the next few days so then i can put up some of the photos i've taken.

Basically nothing to report. its hot and im coping ok with it. learning all about the job, really enjoying it. and really like my boss. Saw my first lot of sheep yesterday, and there was a dead one all decaying and groseness- they recon it'd been dead for about 2 weeks... EWWWWW! But i didnt get out of the car so i didnt smell it!!! PHEW!

Just plain fucking hot!

Alli is totally correct... I have arrived in the outback of our fine land! Basically its just hot and red... not too exciting... actually quite depressing I have absolutley no idea why anyone would want to live out here for more than a year... or really for more than a day... its sooo hot! In my school room with no aircon I am just sweating like a bloody pig... which by the way they have one of, I went to visit it today but was told not to get attatched to it becuase when it finished growing we'd eat it. Last night we had pork chops for dinner and they were litteraly the size of my forearm... needless to say I didnt eat much! ewwwww!

Well I must be off, back to the house to cool down... even though they dont have aircon there either. I'll just go stand in the cool room for half and hour :)

Hopefully next time I post I'll have photos of something.

And alli- loved your post! Bloody helarious! I needed a good laugh! :) And yes you're right Maria and I are basically the same person, I've already scouted out the house looking for appropriate curtians and places to sing my songs :) I'll get back to you on that one.

just like Maria in the sound of music, Rok has left to become a governess... except Maria was in the leafy mountains of Austria (i think... unlike some *insert Marijke* i was never that fond of the sound of music. the very first time i watched the movie was in year 8 in italian... and yes the movie was dubbed in Italian. it was long and boring and i didnt understand what was happening. but alas i digress.). Austria, not to be confused with Australia. they sound similar, but they arent. true story.

Rok on the other hand is in the not so leafy, but hot and dusty and filled with sheep middle of nowhere part of Australia.

its hard to compare to the two really...but i will anyway. Maria was back in the good ole days of fascists and war. Rok on the other hand is not... 20006 is the time of free love and peace. ok, maybe not, but it was the best i could come up with.

ok so, so far, other than the part about them both being governesses (?) i've only come up with differences. however they do have a couple of more things in common. One thing that both rok and maria have in common is that they both have blone hair. true story. AND the second is they both used to be nuns. ok maybe thats not true...maybe. no one will ever know for sure.

therefore, after this comprehensive study of the differences and similarities of maria and rok, i have come to the conclusion that they could actually be the same person. as pointed out they bioth have blonde hair... what other evidence do u need??

ANYWAY. this post was about to be about roks departure. i may have gotten slightly distracted. she left on sunday afternoon. at approximately 4.30 pm. *tear*

on the way to the bus station we (well rok and i) decided that we should so by Qubic and get some bubble tea? have we told u about bubble tea before?? if not, go have it. it rocks so hard. and i will ignore the fact that jess and kate didnt really love. it really is good... would i lie??

but on the way to get bubble tea we stumbled upon a dragon. true story. we thought we were going to die. it was scary. but then it occured to us that we were in fact in china town... and it was chinese new year... it explained a lot. this is the not so deadly dragon...

then we went to Qubic. and got bubble tea. it was good. this is rok getting bubble tea...

and then we stood around for ages while fi bought stuff and then we went back to the car and got roks luggage... its a good thing there were five of us, because there was a lot and it was all heavy.

and then we went to the bus station and waited for the bus to be ready. this is us waiting.

and then after that rok got on the bus. roks up the top... kind of in the middle. cant really see her, but i assure u, she is there!

and then *tear* the bus *tear* and rok *tear* departed *TEAR* *TEAR* this is the bus leaving...

and that is the story of how rok ran away to join the circus. *tear* its now wednesday. i miss u rok... but there is one good thing that comes out of all of this (apart from rok going off and having fun and learning etc etc ). i am now in possession on roks 'The Sims 2' . woot hooray.
